This is a set of coasters that have been laser engraved with a custom name. The wood is Aspen wood found high in the rocky mountains of Colorado. The coasters have a clear coat to seal the wood. They also come with felt pads on the bottom to protect furniture.

    I am happy with the finished product - I bought two! The people I gave them to really enjoyed them. The presentation was awesome. The only down side was I thought there could have been a little more communication back from the maker during the process.

    My wood portfolio box with etching is gorgeous. Ben did an amazing job from start to finish. He communicated regularly with images to update me on his progress. He was flexible in terms of working with me when I was unsure of font size for the etching. I trusted his decision making with regard to finishing touches and hinges, and he did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend Ben's work (and already have) to any of my fellow artist friends or even to individuals needing gift ideas.

    Product arrived very poorly packaged. The wooden coasters were loosely tied with a string and put in a large envelope (not a box). No packing material was used so they banged against each other and were subject to whatever it is the post office does to packages. They arrived with the majority of the bark broke off.
