Size: 31"l x 7"w x 3"h We fell in love with the "Victor" Tin as soon as we saw it. When we shop for vintage tins we look for fine examples of graphic artistry and a shape with specific dimensions. The "Victor" exceeded all our expectations. George's task was to create a fretted, musical instrument that didn't get in the way of the vintage tin's innate beauty. We love his design! A beautifully shaped neck of Brazilian Cherry runs through the entire body producing a stable, tuneful 3-string Dulcitar. Plugged in, the "Victor" has a unique voice combining sounds from the mountains and the Middle East.

String Tinkers
String Tinkers are makers of cigar-box guitars, ukuleles, canjos, dulcitars and fine instruments. They are located in the "Quiet Corner" of northeast Connecticut. The instruments they create are hand-made, one-of-a-kind, unique, and made to be played. Each instrument sounds unique and beautiful. The guitars are made with repurposed parts. The wood used is repurposed from floorboards from old houses. Partners,George Brin, our Luthier, Don Spaeth, and Anthony Foronda are passionate designers and musicians that want to bring back a taste of Americana to traditional musical instruments.
