Jazzy Roses
Jazzy Roses Music and flowers! Perhaps it's a rhapsody, the blues, a concerto? This art quilt uses beautiful hues of red batiks to create the colorful, abstract appliqued roses. The flower centers are enhanced with glass beads. These Jazzy Roses are portrayed in an old pewter pitcher on a three dimensional old fashioned lace doily. Very dense patterned background quilting adds texture and definition. Features include a faced binding and an attached sleeve for hanging. Overall measurement is 18" x 22". I truly enjoy blending my passion for color, quilting and art. My time is spent contentedly creating appliqued and quilted art for gifts, homes, cottages and business places.
The beauty of nature surrounding me is my inspiration. Trees, flowers, landscape and wildlife subjects are among my favorites.
It has been an honor to have my work accepted into local, state, national and international juried and NQA judged quilt shows. Awards include a number of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons and "Best of Show."
Quilt shop quality fabrics are used. My work is pieced, appliqued and quilted on my domestic sewing machine.

Sue Ann custom made this quilt in 60" x 50" dimensions for our living room vaulted wall. I can't wait to hang it on our solid oak hanging quilt holder tonight.
