Bodhi Peace

This is a 16" x 20" acrylic painting on canvas. I have long enjoyed the Buddha, and his many colorful representations. With this piece, I was going for a technicolor forest-type of background, with Buddha portrayed as if in stone, albeit pink. The contrast of the motion and color behind him, while he sits in stillness, I think came out pretty well.
