The lion statue is standing on a two tier platform base. He looks like he is searching for his prey. The lions mouth is open wide you can almost imagine hearing the lion growl. This wonderful lion is hand carved by our talented artisans.

- History of Chinese Guardian Lions
Chinese guardian lions, also called Fu Lions, lions of Buddha, or sometimes stone lions (石獅, Pinyin: Shíshī) in Chinese art[1],
And is a common representation of the lion in pre-modern China, and were believed to have powerful mythic protective benefits. They have traditionally stood in front of Chinese Imperial palaces, temples, emperors' tombs, government offices and the homes of government officials and the wealthy from the Han Dynasty (206 BC -220 AD), until the end of the empire in 1911.
Pairs of guardian lions are still placed as decorative and symbolic elements at the entrances to hotels, government structures, estates, homes and other structures, with one marble lion statue sitting on each side of the entrance.

Dec 5, 2021I haven’t received my statue yet and have not had any information regarding it. I’m always the one contacting the person. I’m not particularly happy with the final product although I have only seen it in pictures but I don’t think it looks like my dog that much and I did tell her about what needed adjusting but wasn’t always listened to. Just want this whole experience to be over with as I feel like my AU$6000 has been wasted and am still wondering whether I will receive my order or not.

Stellar experience, extremely professional company, we were included in every aspect of the project and all of our expectations were met. We got exactly what we wanted, our requests were met as the project progressed. The statue is high quality, the work worthy of a museum.
