Art's And Crafts Tv Stand / Console (Purple Moon)
The clients wanted an arts & crafts style TV console which was big enough for all their components. I designed the entire unit around their components. Also, the glass windows are purple. The back panels are removable and slide side to side and the bottom and and shelves feature ventilation holes to keep the components cool.

Mark is an independent furniture designer and craftsman and builds custom pieces in his wood studio in Frederick, Maryland. He is an industrial designer with additional training in furniture design from the Royal Academy of Fine Art, Copenhagen, Denmark, and has refined his woodworking skills at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship, in Rockport, Maine.
Mark’s style is organic modern and is heavily influenced my both Scandinavian and Japanese design traditions. He draws from his woodworking heritage which goes back six generations through his Scandinavian ancestors.
Mark teaches hand-cut joinery classes and workshops at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center.
