The round pedestal table features a 48" Diameter round top that is 2.5" thick. It has a central pedestal and a 4 pronged base. The table can either be 30" high or 36" high as shown. The table shown here is solid American Black Walnut, but it can also be made from white oak, ash, maple, cherry or other hardwood.

Mark is an independent furniture designer and craftsman and builds custom pieces in his wood studio in Frederick, Maryland. He is an industrial designer with additional training in furniture design from the Royal Academy of Fine Art, Copenhagen, Denmark, and has refined his woodworking skills at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship, in Rockport, Maine.

Mark’s style is organic modern and is heavily influenced my both Scandinavian and Japanese design traditions. He draws from his woodworking heritage which goes back six generations through his Scandinavian ancestors.

Mark teaches hand-cut joinery classes and workshops at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center.
