Modern Minimalist Studio Table
This modern worktable lives in a loft in Brooklyn, used by an art photographer. He needed to work on it and then mount shows in the space, so it had to be easily moved out of the space at times. Dimensions: 30" w x 72" long x 36" high. Includes a small suspended shelf in the back for hard drives etc. Made of cherry veneer and solid cherry with aluminum 'bumpers' to guard vulnerable places against damage when being rolled into and out of the studio.

I've been designing and making modernist studio furniture for over 35 years. I love solving the problems and addressing the challenges of creating beautiful, affordable things -- chairs, tables, desks, beds, lighting -- things that make a difference in people's lives.
I try to fuse the old ways with the new, like integrating metal structural elements with sensual hand-shaped wood parts, or studying how 3D printed parts can be combined with wood to enable new possibilities.
I believe furniture made of natural materials like wood, handled with integrity and treated with respect, help create positive spaces in which to live.
