Living Room Cube Tables
This project offers a flexible and modernist alternative to a coffee table in the living room or den. The cubes are made of Finnish Birch with matte black Formica laminate, for easy maintenance. The holes on the side make it easy to move them about. I've chosen to make them with the edges almost fully exposed to create an attractive three-dimensional corner reveal, and to keep the weight down. They're open on the bottom, and do not offer storage as shown. My customers tell me that they would love to have an aerial film showing the arrangement changing day by day.

I've been designing and making modernist studio furniture for over 35 years. I love solving the problems and addressing the challenges of creating beautiful, affordable things -- chairs, tables, desks, beds, lighting -- things that make a difference in people's lives.
I try to fuse the old ways with the new, like integrating metal structural elements with sensual hand-shaped wood parts, or studying how 3D printed parts can be combined with wood to enable new possibilities.
