This is a spalted oak slab with sculpted cherry legs and patinated copper risers. Bubinga butterflies on the top and bottom add beauty and mitigate crack growth. This piece was made to showcase natures artwork and contrast the weight of the top with the slender support structure.

I learned a few things along the way and love that I was able to participate in the process, makes our table even more special. Above all, he delivered a high quality, beautiful table, above our expectations. We've had it for only a few days but it's already our favorite place to have breakfast and drinks in the afternoon, and we already got compliments from everyone that's seen it.
