Custom Design Shoes

These are custom designed and handmade leather sandals. I was contacted to Design and make a pair of stiletto's in honor/memory of Katie Marie Socci . These were auctioned off at the Socci Stiletto Stampede event in Liverpool, NY. I was told that Katie loved leopard print and hot pink, she also had a tattoo of an Orange Tiger Lily. Using these descriptions I came up with 14 different sketches/design ideas giving the clients the opportunity to choose which design they felt was most reflective of Katie's personality. As for details,I made an extra pair of Orange "lily-esque" clips-ons which I hand-painted to be worn on the shoe or in the hair. The leather outsole was also handpainted with her initials KMS. It took 3 months to make from design to finished product. Depending on the project the time can vary.
