Custom Large Black And White Forest
The Black and White Forest Landscape is my signature piece. It can be 84 inches long x 48 inches wide (yes that's 7 ft x 4 ft). The photos show different forests I've created. Each one is a custom piece. Each has a striking amount of detail done is rich black and white paint. I work with my clients to create a painting that fits into their home. One forest is painted on gallery wrapped canvas. The client recently built a log home in Canada and wanted me to custom paint a forest for her. Her walls are white so this forest does not have an additional accent color. She also wanted a heart put into her painting, which you can see on the right side of the photo. The trees in this forest are larger to go with the large logs in a log home. Another forest was created on wood to sit almost flat against the wall. It was created as an engagement gift and is customized by adding high-lights to the trees to match the wall color of the bedroom. I worked with the couple to customize it for them. He sleeps on the left and she on the right. He said she is the 'light of my life' so the light source is over her side of the bed. Also notice the heart put into the branches over her side. They liked the forest done as a 'winter forest' bare of leaves. I can also add subtle leaves. (Take a look at my other listings) Another is a painting created custom for Frisco City Hall. It is 72"long x 36" tall. It is on display from Dec 2012-Aug 2013 and is for sale, $1250. I will work with you to customize the painting to fit your home. Shipping times vary because a painting this size requires a special shipping carrier . Shipping within the US is approximately $200. It could be more or less, depending upon where you live. I do NOT mark up my shipping and will give you a shipping price prior to doing your piece. Have a place that needs a special size? Custom orders and sizes are always welcome. My first love has always been custom paintings. I enjoy working with a client to design a personal piece for them! My favorite is black and white paintings on a very large scale, such as 6 ft x 3 ft.
Look at my portfolio. You will see that my abilities are wide ranging and varied. I often get asked: "Can you create X, but make these changes?" That is what I enjoy most. We use an idea or something a client loves as a springboard to create something personal and unique!
I am detail oriented, communicate often, ask lots of questions, and honest with a client if I don't think I can create what they want. Art is personal! Everyone should have pieces created they love!! This can only be achieved if you like the artists style and the artist is honest about what he/she can and can't create.
