Original Design - Wedding Dress In Chiffon And Lace With Half Sleeve
This project was created for a bride looking for a simple dress with a twist, that made her look like none other, but with a sense of modesty. She had a vision of using contrasting colors to create a sense of uniqueness in the bodice. The dress was made out of chiffon, grey underlay and white overlay, satin white base and lining, and a cotton lace. I also embellished the lace with chrome/clear dimensional beads, clear/ silver beads, and white beads. I added ruching to the bodice to add a bit of flare that flows to the back. We did decide to change the back from the original design to go straight across. This is definitely a dress for someone who wants comfort and style at the same time. It was a pleasure to work with this buyer! Prices quoted are for the basic design shown, but without embellishments. For design with embellishments and other custom design details will be discussed and additional cost will be added to the basic cost. My company was created to display the beauty, abstract, and artistic side of my personality. Everything designed and created represents me as a person and is handmade by yours truly. I am a colorful, unique, detailed, artistic and fun-loving person. My art expands from canvass to clothing and everywhere in between.
Designing and sewing were gifts I grew up having, that I fine-tuned after graduation. I attended college focusing on designing and illustration, pattern making, draping, high end construction, and finishing. All in all I can make a delicious Couture garment.
I love designing and making original and couture clothing, especially, dresses and gowns. I love styles from the soft and romantic to the funky and fun, and everything in between. I am inspired by the 1920's-1940's era. Women were glamorous and their clothing expressed such style giving them a look that was expensive and priceless at the same time.
I want my clients vision to come to life. I want them to fall in love with how they look when they see themselves in my designs.
