This is a hand knitted, felted rolled brimmed hat constructed in Hand-spun 100% Wool Yarn grown and spun in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. This Piece and Its companion Bag are Lovely with all of the Texture and Inclusions of Hand Spun Wool in its Natural Soft White color.Snowdrift has a set in contrasting Band in soft Grey. On a trip a few years ago I found a lovely yarn shop (my passion) near Asheville TN. They had a small amount of hand spun Local Natural white yarn. Well, I HAD to have it, and it took a few years till it cried out to be Hand knitted and felted into Its Companion the Snowdrift Bag. The Hand spun yarn shows off wonderfully in its texture and inclusions of the fibers and finished fabric.
