Raised in Stockton, CA, Jessica Fong graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Pacific as a double major with a BFA in Studio Art and BA in Visual Studies.
Fong has shown in regional and national exhibitions. She was awarded an assistantship at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN and an internship with Zer01 in San Jose, CA. Fong has also presented scholastic papers at the National Council for Undergraduate Research and at the Pacific Undergraduate Research and Creativity Conference. She has been the recipient of several awards, and grants, including the Pacific Undergraduate Research Fellowship Grant, and the Central Methodist Art Award. She is also a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor’s Society and Sigma Alpha Pi. She is currently an artist-in-residence at Sonoma Community Center completing a new series of work and teaching ceramics.
