Custom animal cutting boards are a proximity 13" × 11" -13" × 1 1/8" thick. They are made using solid maple or can be solid Cherry for best picture results. Striped boards are made with cherry, maple and in some also purple heart and Paduke woods. Also other woods are available. I live in New York and they are in California and from start to finish was less then a week.
