Mantel
Spalted oak live edge fireplace mantel was custom cut from our own patch of woods. Thickness can vary to your liking and this one was 4" T x 8" W x 60" L. This was stained to the customers decor that was needed and sealed with wipe on Poly. The live edge gives a rustic look or one can be hand carved or wood-burned with designs.

Jan 12, 2016I have not seen the final product but the pictures look wonderful. It will be shipped within 24 hours. The project took a little longer than anticipated but communication during the period of construction was excellent. Pictures were sent, valid reasons for delays were described (illness, surgery, extra drying of the wood, etc) and the entire process was very professional. I would certainly contact this artisan again if a need arises.
