This bench is made of pine wood. The seat and the light colored slats around the railing and the front are reclaimed wood. The seat is original floorboard from my 1820 built house. It measures 25" tall x 45" long x 19"deep. The storage space is great for hats and gloves in the winter or sunscreen and shades in the summer. The depth of the storage area is 11 inches. There is also enough clearance underneath to store shoes. The designs on the fronts of the legs are through tenons.

We offer quality, original products, unlike anything else you have seen. Each of our designs is created with more than one function in mind. Here you will discover boxes that become puzzles, puzzles that become chairs, and chairs that become boxes. All of which are handcrafted in Upstate New York to be safe, creative, and fun!
I also love making new custom designs. I enjoy working with clients to help them make their dreams a reality (but just their furniture dreams).

For Cherry Slab BenchThe bench was completed beautifully. However, it became damaged in shipping, so I will need to buy additional materials to clean up an upper edge of the seat and and refinish the piece.

For 3 Tall StoolsMichael was extremely easy to work with and did a phenomenal job on the stools I ordered. He was great at helping me develop my vision, and at communicating the progress. The only minor issue is they took a little longer (a week) than estimated, but I didn't have tight timeline. Overall, the process was outstanding and I would recommend Michael. I will definitely be working with him again.

For Door Bell Chime CoverI was very impressed with Kinderling Wood. I have an old tubular chime that had a really ugly cover and was in a tight alcove. It looks great, and fits perfectly. There was excellent, professional, back and forth and confirming of dimensions and how it would hang. It fits into the architecture of the room now so well that actually no one has noticed the old ugly one is gone.
