Rustic Walnut Bed.
The wood on the headboard was harvested and milled over 40 years ago. I just happens to be lucky enough to be the brother of the woman's who's husbands dad kept them, and many more like them, in his attic all these years. The rest of the walnut was also locally harvested (though recently). I especially like the angled supports in the same rustic wood. This bed was designed to have storage underneath so it is rather tall. It can be made at a reasonable height also.

May 21, 2020I was very impressed with Kinderling Wood. I have an old tubular chime that had a really ugly cover and was in a tight alcove. It looks great, and fits perfectly. There was excellent, professional, back and forth and confirming of dimensions and how it would hang. It fits into the architecture of the room now so well that actually no one has noticed the old ugly one is gone.

I came across Michael's work a few weeks ago, and we corresponded about an unpainted version of his puzzle chair for us. I appreciate the advice he gave about wood choices and finishing, and am so pleased with the final product. A nice bonus was that he got us the chair in time for my son's birthday -- certainly didn't expect that. Thanks for the beautiful work!
