Hand Painted Murals

Murals are amongst my favorite ways to share art. The murals shown in these pictures are painted at the delicious Rum House on Magazine Street in New Orleans. There are three murals in all. The most recent mural was a collaboration with my sculptor boyfriend, which made it 3 dimensional!! It was very challenging and exciting to make. The murals kept the restaurant's Caribbean feel. I enjoy researching material that I am not necessarily familiar with, and bringing it to life. It is very educational and exciting.
