Time Triptych

Three paintings come together as one to represent the aspect of time and how ephemeral that time is. 11.5x29.75" each, seperately matted and framed but meant to be hung together. All are made with transparent, light-fast watercolor paint. This is part of a concept about the delicacy of life, about that which is ephemeral, easily destroyed. What is ephemeral is the most beautiful. The present is always around us, yet it quickly fades to become the past. Each moment of today is a gift.Time is always going, never ceasing, but every moment becomes part of the past. We can never again attain the last moment. The past becomes much more rosy. We forget the bad things and remember the good times. It's the gift we are given to help us make it through life. The future never fully comes to us. Once it does, it becomes the present.
