Crochet Striped Baby Blanket
This custom baby blanket was designed for a sweet family who wanted to be surprised by their newborn's gender. Large stripes of standard 'baby colors' (green, blue, yellow and pink) are accented with a simple criss-cross diamond pattern. My favorite yarn for baby blankets is Caron Simply Soft. This blanket was made using the colors White, Soft Pink, Sunshine, Sage and Soft Blue. Caron Simply Soft yarn is incredibly gentle on skin, in addition to being easily machine-washable and machine-dryable. This blanket is easy to clean and will last many years with little wear.

Hi, I'm Jessica! Ever since I was young, I have loved crocheting. I have a disability that has made it hard for me to keep a regular job -- but I am blessed to still be able to crochet! My sweet and wonderful husband supports me as I pursue my love of art through crochet. My Specialties:
I specialize in creating custom afghans, of all shapes, colors and designs. My second favorite item to create is called a 'nameplate', or a lace-like custom framed item portraying a family name -- a beautiful heirloom for cherished family memories (and a favorite for wedding gifts!).
