Federal Heart-Back Side Chair
A petitie interpretation of this style, this example is in black walnut and was made for a lady's dressing table. A classic Federal period piece with graceful lines forming a beautiful and symbolic back. The hand carved rose at the base of the chair back was a customization of particular significance to the client. This example has a slip seat, but over the rail upholstery would also be appropriate and would serve to make the chair a bit more formal.

I do what I can to accommodate clients' needs, but please do consider the possible backlog of previously scheduled work when looking at the indicated timeframes for each project.
