Seymour Corner (Wash) Stand

Seymour Corner (Wash) Stand

Inspired by a John and Thomas Seymour original corner or wash stand, this example in mahogany with a single drawer and a sliding tambour door concealing a large storage area. Sand-shaded holly columns, she-oak inlaid panels; curly maple, holly and walnut inlays. A high style yet highly functional piece that would have once been used to hold a wash basin, soap and a pitcher of water. Today the piece could be purely decorative, or it could be used to store liquor, flower vases, or sundry items.

I customarily have anywhere from a two week to six month backlog of work in the shop. The timelines indicated for each project in my portfolio do not include any backlog/ previously scheduled work. I do what I can to accommodate clients' needs, but please do consider the possible backlog of previously scheduled work when looking at the indicated timeframes for each project.
