My dad was a contractor and I grew up working with my hands. I started framing houses when I was still in high school. After several years of working as a carpenter and finish carpenter I began building pieces of furniture and cabinets. For a while I worked with an "old-school" furniture builder who built museum-quality Shaker furniture. During this time I expanded my knowledge of joinery and expanded my capacity as a woodworker and furniture builder. I enjoy building solid wood furniture. I excel at traditional styles such as craftsman, shaker and mission.

I knew what I wanted, but couldn't find anything that appealed to me. It's always risky ordering online, site unseen, but I am very, very satisfied. Caleb is a beautiful craftsman and he sent very details instructions on the assembly. I would absolutely use Caleb again!!

Sep 3, 2020Caleb designed and built a beautiful Arts & Crafts Mission style settee for my living room, along with 6 elegant, modern style floating book shelves, which he installed. Both were made of Elm wood: The grain pattern of Elm wood is simply gorgeous! Besides creating beautiful pieces of furniture, I found Caleb to be very responsive, professional, and helpful.
