50th Birthday Party Dress

This dress was based from a fashion image in a magazine. For my customer's upcoming 50th birthday, she wanted a dress to "wow" her guests. I chose an icy silvery-blue taffeta and matching blue and silver sequin fabric for the top. The pattern was made to fit her curvy body type. For feminine flare, there were handmade taffeta roses sewn by the hip to the them. The dress fit her like a glove. This custom dress took 2~3 days, not including the fittings, to make.
