Live Edge Walnut Coffee Table Dovetailed Wrap
What we would call a, "Double Waterfall," on account of this being a single slab we dovetailed and mitered in two places allowing the grain to flow from the top nose to the bottom. Highly figured Walnut with our own Tung oil mix finish. Turned another piece of walnut on the lathe which is the post leg in the center of the open end. Also sits on four heavy walnut dowels giving the piece a 1/4" lift all the way around. Very heavy, very sturdy, glossy finish.

I am Andy Baugus, of 2nd Life Wood, and I have been milling large wood slabs and making furniture for over 23 years here in beautiful Northwest Arkansas. I have many different species of indigenous hardwoods from walnut, oak, cherry, maple, elm, box elder, and other hardwoods available. I get my trees from construction removed, storm damaged, and dead standing. I rescue wood that would be considered useless and turn them into fine pieces of furniture. Otherwise they would be dumped into ravines or burned in the piles they were salvaged from. I also do custom jobs on furniture to your liking. From coffee tables to conference tables, bar tops, or desk, counter tops, and dinning tables.
