Rainbow Lampwork Pendant On A Beadhopper
I just felt like making a rainbow bead. I love a happy combination of colors. I divided the sections of color with gold stone stringer. The tiniest top bead is the same turquoise made in the focal bead. The second bead is yellow based encased with an orange transparent twistie. It measures 3 3/4"/8.5 cm long. A "BeadHopper" was used to create the pendant The BeadHopper is a great new system for bead the artist to display and wear special lampwork creations. All pieces are silver plated and I recommend that you keep your pendant in a zip lock bag, however they are easily cleaned with a silver polishing cloth. Simply unscrew the bottom silver bead and all the components slide off. As Corina says, "Change your mind, change your bead!" ♥I work with soft glass of many different brands and types. Generally I use a 1/16 sized mandrel unless otherwise noted. As a professional lampworker, my beads are annealed in my digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability.
