Large Blue Mediallion Stained Glass Panel
I was looking to do "something different" when I made this item. It took me over a month to create. It has 389 pieces including nuggets and specialty textured glass. Each piece was cut to size, foiled and soldered together. I left the solder silver so that at night it still details the mediallion. The edge is twisted copper for strength that I used decorative solder over. The whole panel has extra reinforcement into it due to the weight. The piece is 31 inches across. If your looking for color for that window without the best view, this piece is beautiful and will the trick for you. When I have the light on in the house and you drive up, you can see it clearly from outside due to it's bright colors.
