This griffin is 8 3/4 high by 9 in wide with the holder hiding in the wings. This was a custom design that I enjoyed making. *** There are many legends about the Griffin. Some are said to have all 4 legs of the Griffin as lion legs. Some say one Griffin has the power to overpower 8 lions and 100 eagles by itself. Some say Griffins are evil creatures that tear apart man. The Griffin is used as a symbol for power and respect. A griffin is mainly half eagle and half lion. It is aid to be the king of both. Some legends state the Griffin can overpower any creature. Some say the Griffin is peaceful and don't harm humans. A Griffin is said to carry the sun god's chariot to lower the sun. *** You decide if you want to view the griffin as peaceful or evil, depending on which legend you believe.

She had to resize the whole project so that it would fit in the small window that I was replacing. It is going to replace a window in the front of my house. So it will be displayed for all to see. I have already been talking to Tina about my next window project. She is truly an amazing artist and I would recommended her to anyone looking for quality work. When the window gets installed I will add the picture. When it came time to ship, the cost was cheaper that what she originally quoted. So she gave me the difference back. Personally I felt aliitle bad because I felt she deserved that extra money because my project was so beautiful. She is a very honest and talented artist.
