This little ornament is 2 1/4 high, 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches across. Decorative solder and a hole drilled into the opening to let the birds come back in. This one in a pretty violet and blue green van gogh. Great gift for all year round, especially for the parents getting ready to experience their own "empty nest". There is a story behind this. Last year was the first year I had an "empty nest". I always bought a special ornament every year and wanted one reflecting that year's event. I couldn't find anything that I was happy with. I made the birdhouse to reflect the empty house with the door always open so the birdies have a place to come home to.
