Custom made Keepsake boxes made from your choice of any combination of Black Walnut, Cherry and Oak. You can choose to have inlaid or wood burned images and text. I have made nearly 3000 boxes in the last ten years and the boxes shown are some of the latest examples of what I have done. To help us decide on the box you want. (send message to me and I will quote) Top and Side panel woods: Choose Oak, Cherry or Black Walnut Panels (or other) Sides, top and bottom panels of these gun boxes are constructed of 1/2 inch quality cabinet grade plywood with the exterior veneer wood of your choice. The solid wood edges are biscuit jointed and glued throughout to form a very strong box. All surfaces are clear Lacquer finished. Length: Choose option 7-20 inches (interior front to back) Width: Choose option 10-20 inches (interior right to left) Height: Choose option 3-20 inches (interior bottom to top) Top border inlay: Choose Oak, Cherry or Black Walnut Panels (or other) Front and rear Inlay: Choose Oak, Cherry or Black Walnut (or other) Sides Inlay: Choose Oak, Cherry or Black Walnut (or other) Cam Lock: Choose Yes or No to have a cam lock installed Comes with two keys Edge treatment: Choose rounded or square corners and edges Leather Handle: Choose Yes or No Comes in brown or black Come in flat of bevelled Hinge: Choose wood hinge or metal The attractive wood hinge is as strong as a metal hinge and an original design of mine Velour insert for inside top and bottom (choose yes or no) Text engraved by hand If Yes please enter the text you want here Tell me the Text font and size and location (I can put your text anywhere inside or outside of the box. Inlaid letters 1 to 2 inch letters in "Lucida Calligraphy" or other text fonts Please tell me what woods you would like for the letters (Oak, Black Walnut or Cherry) Choose a contrasting wood to the one you choose for the top. Tell me where you want the inlaid Text Image to be woodburned/engraved on top If you choose to use your own image, photo, or artwork, Woodburning of images are generally $25-$150 and are priced after review of the image and the detail required. It took me a couple of months researching the web before I settled on Glenn as the choice for this project. I saw one of his fly-fishing rod boxes and it was a sealed deal. This is classic old-world workmanship not readily found just anywhere. In the end, it's a one-of-a-kind family heirloom now and the recipient couldn't be happier. Seriously highly recommended if you want the best, most unique American Craftsmanship for your project.

For Custom Box for Family Bible4.8The project was to construct a custom case for showcasing a family bible from the 1700s..
The result was an elegant design with excellent woodwork, style, and finish along with customized inlay/engraving of the christian cross, national coat of arms, and family name.
The piece has an elegant and dignified appearance. The woodwork is superb and you can tell that a very professional craftsman has produced this piece.

He provided a 3-D CAD model at the start to confirm my requirements and to give me a precise idea of what the finished product would look like.
