This is an Oak wood Recipe box for 4 inches of 4x6" cards. Woodburned by hand Monarch Butterflies wrapped around the edges of the box. All surfaces are finished with a satin sheen lacquer.

    The project was to construct a custom case for showcasing a family bible from the 1700s..

    The result was an elegant design with excellent woodwork, style, and finish along with customized inlay/engraving of the christian cross, national coat of arms, and family name.

    The piece has an elegant and dignified appearance. The woodwork is superb and you can tell that a very professional craftsman has produced this piece.
