Contemporary Drafting Table
This was built for a boy who likes to draw… (my son). It is constructed from doubled-up 3/4" birch plywood to make the entire structure 1 1/2" thick. Formica laminate was used on the table top, on the center drawer, and on the stool for contrast in color and durability. All of the ply on each sheet was left exposed for a unique look and also to highlight the stained areas of the piece.
