The Grizzly - Leather Belt
This is the king of all leather belts. It's built from two pieces of vegetable tanned leather - the outer piece weighs in at 10oz and the second piece making the lining weighs in at 2oz. At 2 inches wide, this belt is great for gun holsters, knife sheaths or any rugged excursion. However, its deep rich color and smooth polished edges makes for a smart looking belt for everyday uses such as to work or a night out. This belt is an example and is made-to-order Materials: Full grain, Veg-tan leather is used to craft every belt. Every belt is tooled, dyed and stitched by hand to yield a beautiful and functional belt. I strive to use the highest quality materials made and manufactured here in the US. All leather used comes from one of the finest Tannery in the US.

I ordered the Buck Reaper knife with a Viper textured handle from Amazon and had trouble finding the kind of leather sheath that was durable, unique, and handmade in the USA. I stumbled around various websites and Facebook pages until I found Strong Horse Leather.
I explained what I wanted, and Erland communicated in detail what he provided. I saw pictures of a similar sheath with excellent craftsmanship and liked what I saw. The price was reasonable, so I gave him a chance. This is the first time I've ever used Custommade or anything like it, so I was nervous at first. The entire experience was excellent, and I was reminded why contracting with an individual artist is so much more rewarding than a faceless corporation that mass produces leather products.
When the product was finished, delivery was prompt. It is exactly like the pictures showed, very fine detailed engraving and color, excellent stitching (my favorite part). It is very very good. I have already recommended Strong Horse to my friends, and you will to yours as well.
