Sliding Barn Wood Doors

$1,300

We make custom Sliding Barn Wood Doors that not only are works of art in themselves but are problem solving solutions using reclaimed materials. Barn wood is heavy. It is dense wood therefore it blocks sound. It can be used to separate rooms, block spaces, used as art, and create unique intimate spaces. Great choice where old pocket doors use to be or just for the beauty of old wood. Our doors come with their own trolley track hardware. We can make the door any size needed. Pricing is determined by the width of the door, its height, and the hardware chosen.

After the market crash of 2008 I took time away from my business of more than 19 years on the production side of corporate event, and design. After almost two decades of creating new strategies for corporations in event design and how best to develop the ideal vehicle for their brand message I found myself needing a new direction of my own expression. My life was being "reclaimed".

Old barns remind me of simpler times and evoke peaceful memories of childhood on my grandfathers farm. Making something purposeful after it seemingly is no longer valued spoke to me emotionally. Knowing a barns history, its story through the test of time, and how its character was formed over a century or more makes it worthy to be shared, and experienced.

I am humbled by the longevity of the materials we reclaim to create new life and memories for our clients. The hunt for the perfectly imperfect barn or architectural find has given me new direction in business. I am blessed to make my living doing what I am passionate about in design and art. I brought to my own business table gifted craftsman with more than 40 years experience making heirloom tables and furniture using yesteryear techniques for generations enjoyment to come.
