Wagon From Reclaimed Oak
I custom made this wagon for a little girls' first birthday. The wagon rails are made from solid reclaimed slow -growth quartersawn white oak barn-wood around 100-years-old. The bottom of the wagon is made from 3/4 Baltic Birch plywood then veneered with 1/4 in solid reclaimed matched cherry from the same barn. -All wood joinery (with the exception of course of wheels and hardware involved in undercarriage) -Extremely stiff/tough construction, built not just for years but generations of abuse. -side rails are curved into the dadoes to give wagon a fluid look. -Finished in semi gloss spare varnish for durability

Fine handmade furniture and goods from locally sourced sustainably harvested wood.. All projects are designed and built by me, William Ney - I'm a one-man show. My aim is to build quality furniture from reclaimed and sustainably harvested hardwoods that will last for generations. One of my dining tables was recently featured in the "Kitchen Tours of the Bluegrass" held in Lexington, KY, in July, 2013.
