Stained Oak Extendable Table
Solid White Oak extendable table with dark brown stain. It extends from 10 to 20 feet when fully opened accommodating up to 22 people; six extension leaves provide opportunity of setting up different lengths depending on the number of guests; leaves are stored on a custom made cart on wheels.

Based in Santa Ana in Orange County, Southern California, I design and manufacture custom cabinetry and furniture. I handle every single aspect of a project: design, production, finishing and installation, with emphasis on client's satisfaction.
Past projects include kitchens, bathrooms, TV rooms, closets and wine cellars, and I have built tables, desks, butcher's blocks, fireplace mantels, all of which I designed myself.
I was born in Italy and grew up in a family totally involved in woodworking and design.
My dad came from a woodworking family tradition dating all the way back to the 17th century; one of my uncle was an architect specialized in interior design, while my other uncle was a set and costume designer plus books illustrator who worked extensively overseas (you can google him : Beni Montresor); finally, my aunt owned a furniture store that was used to sell most of the brand names of italian furniture.
With the exception of Beni, everybody worked close to each other: my aunt shop on first floor, my uncle firm on the second and my dad shop at the back, before we moved to bigger premises.
With such an enviroment, it was only natural that I ended up studying Architecture in Venice and working for two different architectural firms before joining my dad in his business together with my brother, who is still there making custom furniture.

For Alicia's Bed5.0I love, love, love my bed! Luca is amazing. He made a bed that is crafted a thousand times better than the one in the photo I showed to him. He patiently worked with me on all the details (and waited as I changed my mind.) He helped me find the perfect stain (after I changed my mind again.) The bed is a stunning platform bed with beautifully spaced slats that allow storage underneath the mattress as well as an open storage cubby and six soft close drawers (I will never go back to normal closing drawers!). I cannot recommend Luca enough to anyone looking for reasonably priced, quality woodwork. I will definitely use him for my next project!

For Lindsay's dresser 8 drawers5.0I had a difficult time finding a dresser for my daughters room. Adult furniture was too big and youth seemed too small and cheap. I sent Luca pictures of a dresser I like. We changed the color, size, and some of the features and it came out better than the one in the picture. He added features like soft closing drawers that make it even more high quality than what we could find in any of the furniture stores. I would highly suggest LAM woodworks for any custom project. The work is very high quality and professional

For entrance bench4.5amazing work! you cannot tell the difference between the original and the one Luca made for me... actually I think this is better since he probably use only wood in any part of my bench. Highly recommend. Probably is not Luca fault, I couldn't give 5 stars on Timeliness, but yes it took long. The rest is just perfect!

For Dining table base Project5.0I would recommend Lam woodworks to any of my family/friends. I had Luca make dining table base to put marble top. It came out beautifully! I was nervous about working with him since I have never met the guy but it worked out awesome and my finished table looks amazing. For Cedar Cabinet Project5.0This was a great first experience with Custommade and with Luca as well! We were asking for a cedar wood cabinet with a spot for a sink based on photos of something we liked off the internet. We had many proposals from CustomMade but went with Luca because of the quality of his work and his proximity to us (Los Angeles). Luca kept in great communication with us throughout the process, and updated us along the way in a timely manner. The cabinet was finished in the time promised. He personally delivered the cabinet, and brought his tools to make sure the opening for the sink fit perfectly. We couldn't be happier with the end result: a beautifully crafted cabinet that was made for us personally. It was also great meeting Luca and learning about him and his family heritage in Italy making furniture. Luca is obviously a great craftsman and we benefited greatly from his expertise. Thank you!
