New Jersey Seaside

This rug was made from a photo where the happy couple tied the knot. These are antique primitive, hand-hooked rugs made of 100% wool. I use hand dyed wool whenever possible but some material is off the bolt. The rugs are hooked on linen or monks cloth backing and the finished edge is made with 100% hand dyed yarn. These rugs are intended for use on the floor but many of my customers use them as wall hangings.
