I am extremely happy with the results of working with Picinae Studios. Communication was great and the balusters came out perfect matching the existing balusters. I would absolutely work with David again.

I am beyond happy with my final product of two 36 inch high mid century modern serpentine lamps. Working with David Savage was a pleasure. He is truly an expert in his field. He is an artist, a perfectionist and an excellent communicator. He has a gift for explaining very detailed aspects of his design process from the planning stage to final execution. Would I work with him again ?? I could not think of anyone else I would want to work with again. If you post a project on Custom Made and David Savage answers you...do not look any further. I work at a job where I am asked to solve unique problems daily. One such case was sourcing themed finials to sit atop a clothing stand in a store. I spent days scouring the internet and local stores for something I could use to no avail. I don't know how I stumbled upon David's Marketplace page, but I am beyond relieved and glad that I did. Immediately David tackled my problem head on with such professionalism and care that I was blown away. I work with a lot of vendors, so to have one that communicated so effectively and urgently was a joy. His work is superb, and the project turned out exactly how I wanted. I honestly hope I can work with him again in the future.

From start to finish David has truly been a blessing to work with. I've made an extremely unique request and he's addressed each point with such attention to detail that leaves you knowing that he cares about your project as much as you do. He's very thoughtful in his messages as with the project. He will make drawings to confirm that he understands what you're talking about. He will also explore solutions with you on any challenges that may arise. Working with David even minus the finished product, in and of itself, an expression of art. I'm very happy with the finished product. I can't thank you enough David for the co-creation of this project.

I had a need for custom finials for some outdoor lamps. Dave produced exactly what I needed and my lamps look brand new again. No more shades flapping in the wind. The craftsmanship was precise and the packaging would lead one to believe a fine jewel was hidden inside. If you need custom finials, this is the place to go.

I cannot recommend David enough for any of your carpenter type projects/needs! I contacted several other carpenters and they either didn't respond or I received an email days later. David was the first who responded immediately and showed that he cared by asking all sorts of questions regarding my project. I sent a rough sketch (although I had VERY specific measurements involved) and within 24 hours he provided me a digital version of my prototype which was the most beautiful blue print I had ever seen. Precise, crystal clear, exactly what I imagined. After spending a night going through artistic craziness I contacted him to make an adjustment and could only describe it with two words "more rounded" he immediately got to work and sent me a revised blue print which illustrated exactly what I asked for (I provided no sketch), amazing. He must be telepathic...no wait, he's just that good! If you send him an email, you can expect him to respond quickly and thoroughly. Being new to ordering "custom made" items, I didn't know what price to expect, however, it was very reasonable and for the service I received, I almost feel like it was too low. They should add a "tip" section to this website. When I finally received my custom made item, it felt like Christmas arrived early. Perfection! He nailed it. No scary surprises or changes made. Absolutely stunning. I couldn't be happier with his work and customer service. What a pleasant experience in this day and age when it's so hard to find. I highly recommend David and Picinae Studios!
