Picinae designs and makes fine table lamps by hand and its growing portfolio of styles range from traditional to contemporary. Picinae's lamps are unique; signed-numbered and are intended for use in residential and office settings to compliment other fine surroundings. They are made using woods from around the world with exceptional grains-colors-textures, solid brass components and hand-rubbed finishes. They are wired for standard US current, single or 3-way switches up to 100 watts and include the shade and finial. Custom lamps are designed and handmade to the same exacting standards as its proprietary lamps.

Picinae Studios is a creative studio that designs, manufactures and sells fine, handmade wooden accents and accessories. We specialize with turning and our products include table lamps, floor lamps, specialty bowls, lamp finials, rolling pins, specialty wands and staffs, prototyping and custom turnings. Our products are hand-made from raw materials into finished goods using woods from around the world, hand rubbed finishes and solid brass components. They are unique, numbered and signed pieces with an elegant, distinguished quality and style.

    I had a need for custom finials for some outdoor lamps. Dave produced exactly what I needed and my lamps look brand new again. No more shades flapping in the wind. The craftsmanship was precise and the packaging would lead one to believe a fine jewel was hidden inside. If you need custom finials, this is the place to go.

    I am beyond happy with my final product of two 36 inch high mid century modern serpentine lamps. Working with David Savage was a pleasure. He is truly an expert in his field. He is an artist, a perfectionist and an excellent communicator. He has a gift for explaining very detailed aspects of his design process from the planning stage to final execution. Would I work with him again ?? I could not think of anyone else I would want to work with again. If you post a project on Custom Made and David Savage answers you…do not look any further.
