Vintage Industrial Machinist Tool Box / Jewelry Box
Here is a lovingly restored vintage machinist tool box that will see the next 50 years as a jewelry box. Boxes such as these manufactured by companies like Gerstner, Union , National and Pilliod, were used by machinist to store their valuable tools of the trade in a secure and low humidity environment. When I found this one it was water damaged and in sad shape. The goal was to restore it to a well worn state. These are cool boxes that make great gifts. I have a few left ready to find good homes!
