My table is gorgeous! It's a quartersawn white oak trestle table. Travis was so easy to work with -- very responsive and asked great questions about my project. His prices are reasonable and the table arrived in perfect condition. I would work with Travis again in a heartbeat!

We are thrilled with this beautiful vanity. Travis was so easy to work with and the quality and workmanship of this piece is outstanding.

The final product is beautiful! Travis went above and beyond and was very patient when I wanted to make a change toward the end of the project.

The cherry Shaker buffet Mr. Locklear is beautifully crafted. Very expertly made and looks fantastic in our dining area. Mr. Locklear was pleasant to work out details with. The buffet was completed in the timeframe stated at start of project. I highly recommend Travlock Custom Furniture!

Travis did an amazing job creating a custom king size bed for us. It is absolutely stunning. He was so easy to work with, communicated clearly and often with us through the project, and completed it timely. AMAZING WORK! I had a custom media cabinet made with space to put my cat’s Litter-Robot box. It is a big machine and I did not want it to be seen when guests come over. TravLock did and amazing job making my vision come true. He even added a door flap on the side for my cat to leave and enter the cabinet, where I placed the Litter-Robot. TravLock also made on storage compartment in the cabinet. Truly amazing and professional work. Price was very reasonable as well. Very heavy duty as well.

Travis is a great communicator and it is clear he is committed to trying to make his clients happy. We went back and forth several times on the design and Travis was accommodating to my vision while also lending his expertise - very helpful! Overall - our bathroom vanity project turned out well. There are many highlights including: the stain color/wash is exactly what we wanted and shows off the wood grain exactly as we'd hoped, the drawers/doors open/close smoothly and soft close, and the wood construction seems solid/well-made. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that our project used cane webbing in the doors and unfortunately the webbing is just not fully "tight"/flat which caused these waves/sagging that give the vanity less of a polished look. Its a shame because the rest of the vanity looks incredible! I would still recommend working with Travis; especially if you aren't using cane webbing for your project.

Travis did a phenomenal job on this custom project of 2 bathroom vanities. He has a strong attention to detail, was easy to work with and he was timely in the delivery of the work. I would highly recommend working with him! I plan to place another order with him for custom doors. Thanks Travis!

I was in a bind. I was building a new home from the ground up and wanted everything to be luxurious and perfect. When the pandemic hit I was just hammered. I paid more on the construction loan in interest due to shutdowns, the cost of construction materials went up 10-15% and everything was delayed. We were trying to make our master suite and bathroom really be a sanctuary. I had envisioned a perfect vanity for the bath that would accent all of the other selections in the bath, including brushed gold hardware, an all glass enclosed shower and a soaking tub that was black on the outside and white on the inside. We also had a huge, beautiful black-framed mirror and stylish brushed gold vanity lights over the mirror to make the rest of the room really glow. We just needed that perfect vanity. I couldn't find it anywhere. If I found something close, it was either not the right size, not the right color, out of stock, discontinued or had some other issue. Then I discovered CustomMade. I put my project up for bids and a few people replied. I answered them all, but Travis Lockear really seemed to understand what I wanted and was willing to meet my budget and timeframe. Not only was it the right price and timely, but it....was....ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! It looked stunning and was more feature-loaded than any other vanity I'd seen on the market. It had an impeccable style and cut, the stain finish was flawless and the drawers and hardware worked without a hitch. Plus, Travis offered to add power outlets with retractable cords inside 2 of the drawers so that things could remain connected to the outlets when the drawers were opened and closed (hairdryers, electric razors, etc). This was the best of the best. When it arrived it looked every bit as good as the pictures Travis had sent. He had to create a design that could be broken into 3 components (it was 84" long!). Then needed to be connected with hardware that he provided. Then we mounted it on the wall and place my countertop and sinks on top plus the brushed gold faucets to match the brushed gold hardware. Wow! What a perfect finish. The dream bathroom became a reality! Thank you Travis....I will be calling on you again soon to bring more of my dream concepts into reality.

I am so happy with the Shaker buffet and hall cabinet Travis created! Travis was so easy to work with. I mentioned a few key things I was looking for and he took it from there and lovingly created these pieces. They are exactly what I was hoping for. Travis kept me updated on the progress of the projects and shipped and delivered in a timely manner. I would definitely hire him for another project.

I am so thankful to have found Travis. Commissioning anything through an online portal feels a little risky but every step of this process was easy and professional. Travis pushes to work within my timeline and even delivered my walnut vanity himself. The workmanship is incredible and he included some special add-ons like power strips in the drawers and soft close drawers at a very reasonable price. He mailed me samples of wood stains and asked pertinent questions through the website multiple times throughout the process. I would recommend his work to anyone and hope to have the chance to commission him again for a future piece.

We are delighted with the Cherry Shaker Huntboard (buffet) that Travis made for us. Travis did an excellent job and we could not be more pleased. Communication was professional and straightforward, and he offered thoughtful ideas as well as descriptions about finishes. Since we were fairly local, he delivered the piece himself. This offered us the chance to actually meet the maker and discuss the process further, learning how he became involved with making furniture. I would highly recommend Travis' work and would certainly recommend looking at the finished piece which he will put on Custom Made and on his website.

Working with Travis was great. I was skeptical at first doing business with a person I never met but the experience was terrific. Travis was creative in his design and proposal. He kept me informed along the way and even tried to keep the shipping costs to a minimum. The photo tower he made for me is beautiful. It looks great in my living room. I would recommend Travis to others!
