French Country Folding Screen / Room Divider

I collaborated with a painter and together we created this folding screen to match the clients furniture style. She needed a piece to block off a part of the kitchen from view when seated at the formal dining table. We custom sized the piece for this purpose. The wood is a local hardwood called Alder which antiqued very well and matched her period French pieces nicely. The panels were actually cut with the computerized routers and so was all the mortise and tenon joinery.
