What an absolute joy this experience has been. Highly recommend Vollman Woodworking! I just cannot say enough good things about my purchase. Excellent communication every step of the way. Construction time completed as promised. Expedient shipping and package arrived safe and sound. Expertly packed in shipping carton. Explicit mounting instructions with level and all the hardware required to install. The craftsmanship is superb and I don’t say that lightly as I have been a carpenter and woodworker for most of my life. Top notch materials and a beautiful finish! Thank you Eric for such a nice piece that looks beautiful in our home!

I would absolutely recommend Vollman Woodworking. The coat rack I ordered was fitting with smaller hooks for keys. Eric offered advice on this and the size of the hooks are perfect. It is absolutely beautiful. The finish is smooth and the wood grain is beautiful. It’s impeccable. Eric asked what type of wall it would be fitted on, stayed in touch regarding progress of the project and when it shipped. It was beautifully wrapped and arrived safely. You will not find anything like this in a retail store . Great value for money.

I received my coat racks today and can't even begin to explain how impressed I am. They are even more beautiful than I had expected. Eric was extremely professional and kept me up-to-date on the progress the entire time. The packaging was done so well that they were delivered in perfect condition. Near perfect. One little chip on the backside near the hanging hole. Great instructions and tools for hanging it in just the right space. Beautifully finished. A little bit slower on delivery than other items I ordered at the same time (by about 4 days), but well worth the wait!

Overall, I am extremely pleased with the item I received. Mr. Vollman reached out as soon as the order was placed to personally (a nice touch) let me know when the project would be started and it arrived in perfect condition, attentively wrapped and packaged to ensure I got the my item in the best condition possible. A great experience. Two items I think could be improved. First, the packaging; it was full of Styrofoam peanuts. I appreciate the care to ensure the integrity of the product, but would have preferred something a little more green (starch based dissolvable?). Definitely not a deal breaker, but perhaps something to consider in the future. The second thing was the prompts to write this review. I received two emails to do so before I had received the product. I'm happy to support and provide feedback, but felt that was a little pushy. Perhaps a bit longer gap between the ship date and review prompt would be warranted. Minor things to be sure, and not enough to make me grumpy. Love the product and would definitely work with this craftsman again.

My wife and I are so pleased with our "floating shelves". The quality of the work exceeded our expectations, the price was better than reasonable, and the project was delivered in perfect condition and on time exactly as we had been promised. We don't have any other needs right now, but we hope to do business with Vollman Woodworking again in the future.

Eric Vollman has created a magnificent oak keepsake box for me. He allowed me to choose the wood and sent me photos all along the way. The artistic quality and workmanship are fabulous. I will definitely return to him for future projects. I could not have imagined a better outcome!

I had a custom keepsake box made for my boyfriend's birthday. It turned out great, a really stunning piece. I am so pleased with it, but disappointed that I have to wait another week before I can give it to him! Eric was so helpful in the process. His suggestions and answers to my questions were so well thought out. I would absolutely think of him first for any custom woodworking project. I could not be more pleased with this project.
