I am Southern Illinois based designer and custom builder with 18 years experience in metal fabrications, carpentry and custom installations. My background in both sculpture and architecture have helped in developing the capacity to recognize the spatial implications and conceptual potency of the objects with which we interact daily.
I have a particular interest in objects and installations that produce spatial relationships between users, program shifts and versatility, and help the owner/occupant express themselves through the act of dwelling.
I believe in the intuitions of my clients, and work to maintain an open dialogue and a collaborative spirit. As such, I often work in association with area design/build groups and local craftspeople in order to broaden my capacity to serve my clients' interests.

    custom wheels for the bed were perfect! i received a drawing prior to the proposal being sent and the final product looks exactly like the rendering. When i saw them in perfect i was thrilled with the result- they are incredibly well built. I highly recommend this maker. There were no delays and no surprises. this was a great experience.

    Josh did a beautiful job with my table. The job took longer than expected due to the brass plating which was done by a third party. Josh was very apologetic and offered to cover the shipping. Overall I'm very happy with the end result and would do it again. The table is stunning!

    Josh was extremely helpful in the planning stages of my project. His work product was top notch. When we had to purchase different cabinet hardware, I asked him to send me a bill for the difference and he wouldn't accept any more money. This guy is old-school good people. I cannot recommend him strongly enough.

    Our business needed 2 custom made reception desks to complete a small lobby design. We had very specific requests for materials, size and more. The final product we received is even better than we hoped. Joshua and Object A selected the most beautiful cuts of wood for these pieces, which are completed to a smooth and gorgeous finish and exactly meet our specifications.

    Aside from the final product, another highlight of working with this maker was the detailed and professional information he provided at the start of the project. The drawings and description provided really helped us move forward with confidence that we were on the same page in completing the envisioned design.

    I'm very happy with the kitchen island that Joshua and his apprentice put together for me. We went slightly over budget with shipping and it came a little later than planned but they communicated with me every step of the way and I'm confident that they would have found a way to accommodate my needs had any of that not worked for me. The final project was exactly what I wanted - clean and simple, with extra storage room for my kitchen and colors that tie together the other decor we have going. It was packaged so well I actually had some difficulty getting into it and am now using the sturdy packing materials to make a dog house. I would definitely work with this seller again.
