This piece is AWESOME in person….. The panel is from a 100 year old power plant and is simply one of the coolest pieces I've ever came across. The challenge with a piece like this is crafting a design worthy of the starting point. The base was designed and built with both style and function in mind. The legs have adjustable feet with industrial strength nylon gliders. I went to great lengths to hide all of my welds on this table. What does that mean? No visible welds and a super clean finish. I was so intrigued by this table that I couldn't at just a table. I wanted to light the gages. So, two days of work and 12 amber LED's later it was so…… I actually used the original key and switch to turn on and off the newly mounted gage lights. The entire system is ran from a remote battery pack and three AA batteries. The hidden pack is attached with velcro under the table and easily pulls out for a quick painless battery change. All of these details coupled with a multi-layer hand finish and a slab of 1/2" glass make for a true show stopper.

Hello and thanks for taking the time to check me out. Here's my story…..I actually cut my teeth in carpentry where I spent ten years building a variety of custom structures. In 2001 I became a professional firefighter with the city of Indianapolis. After completing my fire and medical training I began my firehouse shift rotation. My firehouse schedule offered me a great deal of free time. So, I continued working with wood but quickly became limited by my materials. Then it hit me…. METAL, yes metal!! I went out the next day and bought a plasma cutter and welder and It was on……… I would literally eat, sleep and breathe funky metal and woodworking projects. Thirteen years later that passion is still running strong. I simply love building cool pieces and I'm humbled that people actually pay me to build them. Some of my past work includes: residential and public sculpture, water features, residential and corporate furniture, copper, zinc and stainless range hoods along with tons of other goodies. My work has been seen in Venue Magazine, Cowboys and Indians magazine, Fabricator magazine and a few local media sources. At the end of the day I just really enjoy designing and creating unique items. If you've read this far your a trooper….. Thanks www.intuitiveiron.com
