Wedding Ring Box
A small box with sliding lid that has two separate compartments for wedding rings. Made from solid cherry and velvet liner. The lid stops when it slides far enough, in each direction, to uncover either compartment. The lid does not slide out of the box, so it won't get lost.

I am a custom furniture maker with more than twenty five years of experience making fine furniture. I work in a large workshop located next to my home. I have successfully completed hundreds of custom furniture orders.
I have designed, built, and shipped many large pieces of furniture to customers through CustomMade.com, now Maker Marketplace.com, Etsy and my Shopify store. The furniture has been well received. Customers usually comment on the quality of the piece(s), the materials, and the level of craftsmanship.
The process begins with a message from the potential customer. I follow up with design drawings and a proposal that includes the price, delivery date, and a written description of the furniture with all the special details. I am responsible for all the shipping arrangements.

The box was delivered a tad later than expected, but it was due to David's attention to detail and his wanting to ensure that the box was well-made. The first box he built was not up to his standards, so he made a second one rather than shipping what he believed was a substandard one and waiting to see if it would be acceptable to me. It was well worth the wait. Furthermore, David was in contact with me throughout and kept me apprised of how things were progressing and the reason for the delay. He had to talk me through it a hundred times and when we were finished I had a great product. So great, in fact, I bought an extra one. This guy is patient and can help clarify what you want, which isn't always how you start out.
On top of all that he was fast to communicate and the packing might have been a more spectacular project than what I asked for.
