Cherry Jewelry Box
This box is made entirely from solid cherry wood. It measures sixteen inches long, side to side, ten inches wide, front to back, and five inches tall. The box is made with hand cut dovetail corners, frame and panel lid, floating panel bottom, Brusso quadrant hinges, flush mount handles, and a key lock with a custom escutcheon. The trays are made with box joint corners and the dividers are custom configured to match the owner's collection. The trays and the bottom of the box are lined with black cotton velvet. The finish is six coats of polished varnish.

I am a custom furniture maker with more than twenty five years of experience making fine furniture. I work in a large workshop located next to my home. I have successfully completed hundreds of custom furniture orders.
I have designed, built, and shipped many large pieces of furniture to customers through , now Maker , Etsy and my Shopify store. The furniture has been well received. Customers usually comment on the quality of the piece(s), the materials, and the level of craftsmanship.
The process begins with a message from the potential customer. I follow up with design drawings and a proposal that includes the price, delivery date, and a written description of the furniture with all the special details. I am responsible for all the shipping arrangements.

Great wood selection and careful attention to details like a turned handle with two thin lines, slight angle to the sides, brass nail heads, and floating bottom panels. Excellent value.
