Calendar Frame
This frame is made from solid mahogany. It is designed to keep a wall calendar secure in a horse barn. The calendar needs to be kept in the barn to schedule employee work shifts, tasks, and maintenence chores. It needed to be sturdy, elegant and very practical. The buyer was happy with the result, especially to custom engraved and gold painted logo, sturdiness of the frame and the convenience of changing pages.

I am a custom furniture maker with more than twenty five years of experience making fine furniture. I work in a large workshop located next to my home. I have successfully completed hundreds of custom furniture orders.
I have designed, built, and shipped many large pieces of furniture to customers through , now Maker , Etsy and my Shopify store. The furniture has been well received. Customers usually comment on the quality of the piece(s), the materials, and the level of craftsmanship.
The process begins with a message from the potential customer. I follow up with design drawings and a proposal that includes the price, delivery date, and a written description of the furniture with all the special details. I am responsible for all the shipping arrangements.

The box was delivered a tad later than expected, but it was due to David's attention to detail and his wanting to ensure that the box was well-made. The first box he built was not up to his standards, so he made a second one rather than shipping what he believed was a substandard one and waiting to see if it would be acceptable to me. It was well worth the wait. Furthermore, David was in contact with me throughout and kept me apprised of how things were progressing and the reason for the delay. The box was arrived well packaged so that this beautiful work of art was protected during shipping. I would do business with David again in a heartbeat. He is a true craftsman!

Sep 27, 2023David made several great suggestions that improved on my original custom design. This was not for holding vials of essential oils, the vials hold rock samples taken every 10 feet from the surface down to 340 feet while we were drilling our well. The display shows an interesting variation of rock types at different depths. You'd have to be a geologist to really appreciate this display. Looks museum-grade. 5 stars all around!
