Maurice did a excellent job with my project. He communicated with me often to make sure we were on the same page with measurements, stain color and design. It was a pleasure working with him and I would use him again for future projects.

Maury was a pleasure to work with. The bench is exactly as I had requested. Communication was easy and Maury posted photos at each step. The bench was completed and delivered on time. I would highly recommend Maury's Moldings, Etc.

I received the custom made chessboard on the date expected and it was in excellent condition. It was packed very professionally and was in perfect condition. The craftsmanship on the board was second to none and the finish was perfect. There was a slight separation on one side between two squares and the border but that can be fixed quickly with appropriate wood filler. I have looked online for a similar chessboard and it just does not exist for the price I paid for this one. I highly recommend Maury's Moldings for any woodworking project and will use him again if I have a project. Thanks again Custom Made and thanks to Maury.

Working with Maurice has truly been a great pleasure. From the sheer professionalism and organization of the proposal to sending updates throughout the entire process, I knew my project was in good hands. Maurice hand-crafted the most beautiful bookcase I could have imagined, exactly to the specifications I had wanted. I needed something that could hold photo albums, so the shelves needed to be 15" tall and deep. Could not find anything for months, until I found this website and Maurice. He got the specs just as we had discussed, and the quality of the workmanship is outstanding. He was very professional throughout the construction, and even sent me photos of the progress along the way, which was not required but I found very courteous and made me even more excited to see the project at completion. The finished work was exactly what I wanted. And he saved me tons of time and money by offering delivery service. He delivered exactly as promised, all at a very reasonable price. Maurice is an honest, hard-working person and a great craftsman and I would recommend him for any project. Thank you Maurice! Now my home is complete. It was a pleasure doing business together.

Maury's Mouldings is a very professional outfit. I was happy with his finish but the edge of the chess board playing surface was covered by the side moulding so I was a little disappointed. I should have been more specific and told him not to cover any of the playing surface with the side moulding but I never thought that would be an issue. I would like to use him again to build another chess board the same size only with a better border that does not infringe on the playing squares. I was very nice when I called to check on the progress and he was very professional and personable. Would he accept another job for me? He is an excellent wood worker.

My husband and I visited Maury at his shop, because we wanted to feel comfortable about our choice of furniture makers before agreeing to a proposal. He made us feel welcome and we were able to see the quality of his craftsmanship and his enthusiasm for making people's design dreams come to life. He kept in communication with us through every step of the process, sending us clear photos as he progressed. We highly recommend you choosing Maury for your project.
